How to measure
Measure the length and thickness (see note below), then add them together. For example if the tool is 11cm long + 4cm thick, it needs a pouch marked as fitting 15cm tools. Same thing if measuring in inches.
Note: We want to measure the thickness, not the width (whichever one is thinner is the “thickness”). If it’s a round tool then it doesn’t matter.
Method 1: Wrap measuring tape around the thickest part of the tool. Whatever number lines up with zero is the circumference. In the example above it’s 8.5cm (3.3″).
Method 2: Wrap a string around the tool, mark the string with a pen, then measure the string with a ruler or tape measure.
